Experimental Animal Unit

Our center consists of a closed area of 1600 m2 and is divided into three units including:

1) Classrooms and meeting rooms as educational areas,

2) Physiology, microbiology, basic sciences and brain research laboratories and operating rooms as research and development areas,

3) Rat, rabbit, mouse and guinea pig production, follow-up and quarantine rooms as experimental animal care and  housing areas.

4)In our center, licensed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, experimental animals, experimental research, production, care and supply of which have been permitted, are rabbits (New Zealand), rats (Wistar albino, Sprague Dawley), mice (balb/c) and guinea pigs.

5) There is an IVC system with 28 cages. The purpose of using this system is to provide and maintain a stable environment for animals while providing a safe and comfortable environment for the staff and researchers.
