The center, which was built in memory of Hakan ÇETİNSAYA (1976-1996) with the financial support of his uncle Süleyman ÇETİNSAYA, a benevolent businessman, was opened in 1997 as affiliated to the Faculty of Medicine. A large number of experimental studies have been carried out at Hakan Çetinsaya Experimental and Clinical Research Center since its establishment. These studies were published in national and international journals, presented at congresses and entitled to receive various awards. The center was named as “Experimental Researches Application and Research Center – DEKAM” within the scope of the Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated June 21, 2013 and numbered 28684.
